The foundation stone of Prayag Public School was laid down on 26 Nov 2005 at lalgopalganj, the biggest town of Allahabad city on Allahabad- Lucknow highway about 38 km from Allahabad city with a vision to provide world class education to students with creative learning techniques. This school is situated only 2 km away from shringverpur, the holy place where lord Rama crossed the Ganga river on his exile.Prayag public school is built on the land donated by Sri M.D Tiwari , the founder member of the school with the help of Sri S.C Srivastava, Rtd. Dy Registrar of high Court, Allahabad and Sri C.L. mishra a veteran academician.

Prayag Public School, Handia Branch started its Kindergarten Section in the year of 2011. This section is run by Prayag Educational Society(PES) and received overwhelming response from parents & guardians in it’s very first year of Inception.
